The dilemma has always been which fragrance shall I wear today. If you’re a perfume junkie like me you have a stack of a dozen or so bottles for various moods of your week or month as you would have it. If I’m going to work at the office I like to vary my fragrance not because I don’t want my co-workers to get bored but I don’t want to get bored. I like to keep 3 or 4 new fragrances that I like to introduce into my week. So typically on a Monday I’ll start with Usher fragrance for women and then towards the middle of the week I will switch to bahama fragrance for women which will then transform into a vera wang fragrance towards the end of the week. I like my old standbys like dkny women fragrance and Versace fragrance for women. Another women’s perfume that I use steadily on the weekends originally came in a fragrance gift set and that is my Hugo Boss fragrance. I used to not go anywhere without that a few years back.
For weekend occasions if I’m going on a date I like to experiment a little. A nice summer fragrance for women that kept me feeling fresh on hot summer evenings if our date happened to be outdoors is a couture fragrance for women. Of course its juicy couture. I was skeptical about getting it but it reminded me so much of meadows and fresh smelling short linen white dresses.
Other fresh smelling fragrances for the summer include white linen by estee lauder and Kenzo fragrance. White linen is a classic and i always keep goping back to that for the summer.
I used to like nina ricci’s L air du temps, especially the beautiful Lalique flacons that the perfumes come in. It was the perfect evening summer fragrance with a light flowery scent but ending with a strong base note that was light but suggestive and very womanly.
It’s sister fragrance which is fleur de fleur retained the flowery top note but lacked the sturdy base note and so it was the perfect summer floral scent that was light and airy and fun and reminicent of Cacharel’s Anais Anais. This was the most enduring floral scent that I have ever worn. The Eau de toillete would last all day and would never turn sour. Cheap perfume can be the bomb and a good find when you discover them. Elizabeth Arden and Avon carry some interesting summer fragrances on the cheap and can be found at stores that carry c.
